Kofax AP Agility 2.6.0 Fix Pack 1

Introduction

You can install Kofax AP Agility 2.6.0.1 to resolve the issues listed below.

Issues resolved in this fix pack

ER1894460: Ability to export custom fields to PDAP

It is now possible to map a non-predefined custom field to a PDAP field.

ER1863722: Update the IPA dll to use Reporting Data in manual mode.

Field changes on the Validation Activity form are now tracked and included in the reporting data.

ER1841394: Administrator ability to view and reassign invoices in Approval.

A new setting is available in Settings > Workflow > General Settings called AP Manager as Approval Manager. When this setting is selected, members of the AP Managers group for each Organization Business Unit are able to see all invoices that are in approval, even if they are assigned to a different user.

Approval managers can then reassign invoices as needed, and the appropriate email notifications are sent so that users are aware of the change.

To use a different resource group for approval manager, modify the AP Agility AP Custom Assign Approval Manager business rule in TotalAgility and set the ApprovalManagerId to the resource ID of the resource group that you want to use.

ER1809730:Support Global Subtypes from MarkView.

Global MarkView subtypes are now supported by AP Agility. These subtypes are displayed on the Scan form and during the Validation Activity.

1955328: Extraction fails on KTA 7.9.0.8: "Invalid XML format for node 'MaxClassId' detected."

Extraction is successfully executed when using KTA 7.9.0.8.

1953974: Unencrypted passwords visible in APA Worker logs during email approval chain setup.

The Integration Service log no longer includes the connection string or session id.

1952719: Accounts Payable Agility (SaaS) - Using just Tenant Code in the IPA/APA dll's ultimately leading to error in ClassifyExtract/Validation/Line Pairing.

A combination of the tenant code and deployment type key ensures that there are no more errors in ClassifyExtract/Validation/Line Pairing.

1950933: Jobs getting suspended at Approval activity with error "Failed to execute business rule."

Jobs are no longer suspended during the Approval activity unexpectedly.

1945131: Validation of VendorID field does not trigger PONumber validation if invoice type is validated as PO but is not a PO.

PONumber validation from the VendorID validation is triggered if the invoice type is configured to be validated as a PO.

1944076: PDFs exported by ERP connector have incorrect number of pages when PDFs have been merged in IP Validation.

Documents that are merged or deleted during Validation or reScan are detected as such and handled accordingly.

PDFs are now regenerated if documents have been merged rather than reusing the original PDF.

1944050: Log Entries written to wrong database in Azure environment.

Different tenants are no longer overwriting each others logger configuration. Tenant-specific logger names are now used by the APA.dll.

1940149: ERROR messages logged during extraction.

Misleading error messages are no longer logged during extraction.

1938464: ExtractionProcess.exe runs out of memory when processing large documents.

Improvements to extraction for large documents means that it is significantly less likely that the ExtractionProcess.exe runs out of memory.

1936957: Distinguishing between dot and comma.

When validation is triggered for individual cells from the user interface a single comma at the fourth-last position is interpreted as a thousand separator, and eliminated. For example, if a user enters 150,000, then the value is formatted as 150000.

In addition, amount formatting for line items has been improved. Now, ambiguous amounts are parsed with no decimal when one is not present, or when there is a comma separator at the fourth-last position, but a comma appears more than once in one of the line total values. For example, the value 12,000,00 is formatted to 12000.

1936944: Invoice currency is incorrectly determined.

Improvements have been made to invoice currency determination.

1936949, 1935247 : Column width mismatch for vendor name in PO_HEADER vs VENDOR_MASTER_DATA.

The Vendor Name column width has been increased to 240 characters in the PO_HEADER table. This matches the length for the same field in the VENDOR_MASTER_DATA table.

1936937: Ingested value for Custom worktype variable not carried through to export.

The ingested value for the custom worktype variable is successfully exported.

1932335: Remove unused settings in Workflow > General Settings.

The Settings > Workflow > General Settings no longer has unnecessary settings that have no purpose.

1932332: Field Mask does not behave as expected.

All mask characters are now evaluated and the first pattern is not skipped if empty. Also, the ^ character is now recognized as a placeholder for a blank.

1932327: LineItems Quantity is not exported in case of DB Export.

The LineItems Quantity is successfully exported when using database export.

1932324: Email approval failing.

Email approval is no longer failing.

1932321: Upgrade to AP Agility 2.6 fails on Kofax TotalAgility 7.11.

Upgrading AP Agility to 2.6.0.X no longer fails when Kofax TotalAgility 7.11 is installed.

1932309: APA/MV Integration: Missing invalid MarkView connection string must not block opening the validation form.

If the cashed MarkView configured connection does not work, an attempt is made to use the most recent connection string.

If the connection still fails then the InvoiceType is set to invalid with an error message indicating that the connection to MarkView has failed.

This fix pack applies to Kofax AP Agility 2.5.X and 2.6.0.0 (OP, OPMT, and Azure). You can upgrade directly from any 2.5.X AP Agility version or 2.6.0.0.
