General ControlSuite:

1619915 - Install Assistant prerequsite couldn't detect .NET Core Runtime and
hosting bundle version 5.0.
1617085 - Install Assistant in silent command mode asked user if they wanted
to uninstall ControlSuite when --UninstallFirst option is not
provided which broke silent mode.
1621545 - InstallAssistantHelper script generated console logs only. Now it
generates log file under %ProgramData%\Kofax\InstallAssistantHelper
folder.
1622475 - InstallAssistantHelper couldn't find the ControlSuite install
account it needs to properly remove configuration data.
1622484 - InstallAssistantHelper script was not able to remove the Security
Framework service account when it attepted to remove ControlSuite
configuration data.

displayed the cost of the print jobs with incorrect 5th digit.
1596630 - PJM was timing out when Mac workstation was not available
to get jobs.
1595957 - Printing - Force mono rule had no effect for jobs printed with
HP Universal Printing Driver using the 'HighQuality CMYK Grayscale'
mode, the printer used its color cartridge.
1604700 - Mac Client - Messages triggered by a print rule having
multiple lines were displayed in one line without line breaks.
1609276 - I-Queue printing - Memory leaks were fixed.
1610329 - Equitrac Public API - Account names containing accented characters
caused failure for many API entry points.

of print jobs, so not causing unable to release jobs.

1631467 - Follow-You Printing - Queued jobs were not listed if CAS is offline.
1633760 - Printing - Jobs submitted to secure queue disappeared after
upgrading from CS 1.1.x.
Output Manager (5.2.2):

1586637 - Fixed an issue in which the OM DBM could crash while adding a new
group from Active Directory.
1596592 - An issue in which Output Manager was unable to get manufacturer and
model information from Develop ineo+ devices has been fixed.
1607772 - An error involving a missing Byte Order Mark (BOM) with certain email
documents. has been fixed. This could result in transform errors in
which certain characters, such as an Umlaut, were not translated
correctly.
1616379 - The OM SharePoint Destination had been fixed to support SharePoint
online.
1619406 - An issue in which the SharePoint Destination did not work without a
folder name has been resolved.
Business Connect (8.2.2):

1601253 - WebCapture and Business Connect signature fields do not have the same aspect ratio
1604848 - Unable to log in from the app when a username contains a space
1629375 - iPad devices with IPadOS 14.5 or IPadOS 14.1 with KBC app 8.1.5 cannot connect to Business

1631394 - The Settings icon on the home page of the iPhone KBC app 8.1.5 is to high up and has to be
pressed several times for it to react
DWS (10.2.2):

1603260 - HP UC - In AutoStore Process designer, there was an administrator setting that controlled
users' ability to modify scan settings at the device panel. This was not working and is
now fixed.
1627310 - KM UC - Modified device install to allow access to native web browser appplication.
1627438 - KM UC - Certificate generation changed to supply default values for various fields to meet
minimum KM MFP requirements
1627974 - KM UC - Login process modified to allow user box accesson the MFP
1627958 - KM UC - OpenAPI function to rename button on the device screen was not valid on C3300i.
This was fixed to not fail the install.
1627999 - KM UC - Logout process was modified to not log out of the entire application when performing
userbox scan
1604517 - HP UC - Disabled showing device "Scan progress" dialog while performing long scans, so that
navigation to other functionality is possible while scan is being processed.
1608337 - HP UC - "Misfeed detection" option is now always set to "ON". There is no UI option to
turn off this setting at this time.

General ControlSuite:

1628408 - On Windows Server 2012R2, ControlSuite configuration assistant would fail to configure
the licensing server if system is missing the required security ciphers.
Workaround: Install at least on of the following cipher suites before installing
and configuring the licensing server.

Note: this can be done by properly configuring TLS cipher suite order
in SSL configuration settings by using the Group Policy Management Console.
AutoStore (8.2.2):

1459644 - Micro Focus (HP Trim in CS 1.1) component's license expires after
upgrading from CS 1.x to CS 1.2.
Workaround: Manually refresh the license through Configuration Assistant.
1590167 - After upgrading from an earlier CS 1.x version to CS 1.2 the Windream
component still appears in APD with a red X icon.
Workaround: The component can be hidden manually.
1594083 - SharePoint 2010 support has been discontinued. References to SharePoint
2010 may still appear in some components.
1594974 - OneDrive fails to upload documents if there are special characters
(e.g. #) in the file name scheme.
Workaround: Remove the special characters from the file name scheme
1559315 - Workflows using cloud-based components requiring Token Vault need to
be re-configured and users need to re-authenticate.
1524076 - PIM Blank Page Removal - An error occurs when the Remove empty pages
option is active in the PIM component and the original document is blank.
Workaround: Do not process blank-only documents.
1565899 - RightFax Capture does not support RightFax.v16.0.6 (EP6) client.
1597817 - iManage Work eConnector activation produces incorrect status if the
configuration is not saved.
Workaround: Save the configuration.
1596384 - OCR component may report an error when 2 or more workflows are run
simultaneously.
1597771 - WebCapture throws an exception when changing the field type from
Lookup List to List and opening its properties.
Workaround: Instead of changing the type, delete the field manually
and re-create it.
1599687 - Missing acceleration keys on the SharePoint General tab.
1599688 - Acceleration key is not working on the SharePoint component's General tab.
1633749 - OPBarcode documentation contains incorrect RegExp example
Workaround: Extend the regular expression with a closing element,
either with [\s\S] or [^\x00] when searching for unicode text.
1628027 - KTA route is not registered properly after installation and throw
license error.
Workaround:
1. Open Command prompt
2. Navigate to: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319
3. Run the following command to register KTA route:
regasm -codebase "<Autostore install folder>\KTARoute\Kofax.AutoStore.TotalAgility.Route.dll"
1598062 - HP UC - Unified Clients Capture component - IP and HostName RRTs both
resolve to the Fully Qualified Domain Name, which was used for the
device address in DRS.
1627152 - In some cases improper values shown on Autostore Licensing page in
Configuration Assistant. Regardless the user is able to assign all
available licenses to AutoStore server(s).
1628029 - KTA route/eConnector’s Help button is not working.
Equitrac:
---------
1426131 - Device Clients - The title of the application is translated
incorrectly for some languages (Finnish, German, Italian, Norvegian)
for some device clients (HP OXP, Sharp, Xerox EIP).
1426152 - Web System Manager - Discovering and editing Kofax Card Readers -
Some terms related to card reader are translated incorrectly.
1501003 - Web System Manager - Diagnostics screen - Services cannot be loaded
if the number of DRC components are high (100+). Because of this the
trace settings cannot be changed from this screen.
Workaround: Change the trace settings locally for the components.
1594040 - Device Management - For a printer with control characters in
its name, the related print queue was duplicated and the print jobs
were not tracked.
Workaround: Use printers without control characters.
1599452 - Cashier application does not work, it cannot connect to CAS.
1618600 - Scan Client - Information popup for scan jobs cannot be opened.
1618839 - Windows Print Client - Send To Printing - Search for users based on
the 'Description' field does not work.
Workaround: Search for users based on other fields.
1621946 - Windows Print Client - Print Client will not function correctly if
an upgrade is performed on top of existing Print Client.
Workaround: Uninstall previous version of Windows Print Client before
installing the newest version.
1631303 - Web System Manager - Xerox ECSP device cannot be initialized
using SNMPv3.
Workaround: Use SNMPv2.
1635598 - Follow-You Printing - Server connection error occurs after logout
when the "Only release job while user is logged into device" setting
is enabled.
Workaround: Dismiss the error message, or disable the mentioned
setting.
Output Manager:
---------------
1641456 - The Output Manager Universal PS Driver Wizard does not support adding
devices and destinations using IPv6 addresses.
Workaround: Manually add the device, destination and Windows Queue
source.
1425407 - When receiving a document with the Email Source (EWS / Office365)
that includes embedded images and one or more attachments, separate
documents are created for the embedded images as well as for the
attachments.
1541493 - OM Business Rule action Extract Text (page mode) is corrupting some
Greek language characters.
1555089 - When Output Manager is running on Server 2019 and its services are
configured to use the local system account, transformation operations
are not able to utilize all of the fonts available on the system.
Workaround: Use a domain user account for the services.
1594391 - Under some circumstances a range of device detection IP addresses can
disappear and require entering again.
Workaround: Enter the IP range again.
1600063 - Under heavy load, an unhandled exception can occur in the RFIDeas web
hosting application. Exception text: "The process cannot access the
file 'C:\inetpub\RFIDeas24Reader\Logs\2021\02_Feb\RequestLog_20210222.txt'
because it is being used by another process"
This will be fixed in the next ControlSuite Fixpack.
1614180 - LPD Source - Unable to edit more than one LPD queue at once.
Workaround: Modify each queue individually
1633916 - Under some circumstances, resolved device alerts do not show up in
alerts history until the SNMP service is restarted.
Workaround: Restart the SNMP service.
1639791 - Ad-Hoc Merge on a large number of documents can cause some merges to
fail.
Workaround: Select a smaller number of documents for merge.
1513878 - Duplex is not leveraged when page range and duplex is set in print
settings.
Workaround: Select the page range when printing from the application.
1603414 - When receiving documents using a POP3 email source, special
characters in the Subject line are sometimes not represented
correctly. This is more likely to occur for relatively long Subject
lines.
DRS:

1642965 - Unable to customize app name/authentication screen when adding a device under group with inherit
properties set to false
Workaround: Pressing "Save" will then make the fields editable.
DWS:

1645237 - Auth_ON Installation is failing on Versalink devices when specifying an IPv4 address for DWS
Workaround: Use fully qualified domain name for DWS Server Address in DRS

Installation Instructions
=========================
If you are upgrading to ControlSuite 1.2.0.2, it is recommended that
you download its packages from the ControlSuite software download server
(Kofax Electronic Fulfillment site) and re-run the Install Assistant.
If you upgrade using the Install Assistant from any ControlSuite 1.1 Fix Pack
you must re-run Install Assistant and select Force download of latest
installers on the Summary page. This selection forces any updated MSIs to be
downloaded from the software download server, and override the files in the
Installs folder.
SSO instructions for external application in Equitrac Fuji Xerox ECSP
=====================================================================
You can use SSO when you have logged in to Equitrac with AutoStore set up as
an external application that uses Windows Authentication. If your authentication
uses a domain account in the form of Domain\EQusername or EQusername only,
Equitrac will check if the user has any authenticated session, and then send the
EQusername from Equitrac to AutoStore as evidence of the session. This ensures
that SSO authentication is valid and in use.
