Known Issues ============ The following are known issues that have been identified since the previous release. Known Issues in this Fix Pack ----------------------------- General ControlSuite: --------------------- 1628408 - On Windows Server 2012R2, ControlSuite configuration assistant would fail to configure the licensing server if system is missing the required security ciphers. Workaround: Install at least one of the following cipher suites before installing and configuring the licensing server. TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA384 (0xc028) TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA256 (0xc027) TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0xc014) TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA (0xc013) Note: this can be done by properly configuring TLS cipher suite order in SSL configuration settings by using the Group Policy Management Console. AutoStore: --------- 1459644 - Micro Focus (HP Trim in ControlSuite 1.1) component's license expires after upgrading from ControlSuite 1.x to ControlSuite 1.2. Workaround: Manually refresh the license through Configuration Assistant. 1524076 - PIM Blank Page Removal: An error occurs when the Remove empty pages option is active in the PIM component and the original document is blank. Workaround: Do not process blank-only documents. 1590167 - After upgrading from an earlier ControlSuite 1.x version to ControlSuite 1.2 the Windream component still appears in APD with a red X icon. Workaround: The component can be hidden manually. 1594083 - SharePoint 2010 support has been discontinued. References to SharePoint 2010 may still appear in some components. 1594974 - OneDrive fails to upload documents if there are special characters (e.g. #) in the file name scheme. Workaround: Remove the special characters from the file name scheme 1559315 - Workflows using cloud-based components requiring Token Vault need to be re-configured and users need to re-authenticate. 1565899 - RightFax Capture does not support RightFax.v16.0.6 (EP6) client. 1596384 - OCR component may report an error when 2 or more workflows are run simultaneously. 1597817 - iManage Work eConnector activation produces incorrect status if the configuration is not saved. Workaround: Save the configuration. 1597771 - WebCapture throws an exception when changing the field type from Lookup List to List and opening its properties. Workaround: Instead of changing the type, delete the field manually and re-create it. 1598062 - HP UC: Unified Clients Capture component: IP and HostName RRTs both resolve to the Fully Qualified Domain Name, which was used for the device address in DRS. 1599687 - Missing acceleration keys on the SharePoint General tab. 1599688 - Acceleration key is not working on the SharePoint component's General tab. 1628027 - KTA route is not registered properly after installation and throw license error. Workaround: 1. Open Command prompt. 2. Navigate to: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319. 3. Run the following command to register KTA route: regasm -codebase "<Autostore install folder>\KTARoute\Kofax.AutoStore.TotalAgility.Route.dll". 1633749 - OPBarcode documentation contains incorrect RegExp example Workaround: Extend the regular expression with a closing element, either with [\s\S] or [^\x00] when searching for unicode text. 1680914 - When reducing the number of licenses assigned to a ControlSuite License Server in certain cases, the AutoStore licensing page license amount validation might fail at Configuration Assistant AutoStore licensing page and the user is not able to proceed beyond that screen. Workaround: Reduce the number of licenses assigned to all AutoStore servers connecting to the given License Server to the new desired amount prior to assigning the reduced amount of licenses to the Local License server, so the sum of AutoStore assigned licenses does not exceed the number of available licenses on the ControlSuite License Server. Equitrac: --------- 1426131 - Device Clients: The title of the application is translated incorrectly for some languages (Finnish, German, Italian, Norwegian) for some device clients (HP OXP, Sharp, Xerox EIP). 1426152 - Web System Manager: Discovering and editing Kofax Card Readers - Some terms related to card reader are translated incorrectly. 1501003 - Web System Manager: Diagnostics screen - Services cannot be loaded if the number of DRC components are high (100+). Because of this the trace settings cannot be changed from this screen. Workaround: Change the trace settings locally for the components. 1594040 - Device Management: For a printer with control characters in its name, the related print queue was duplicated and the print jobs were not tracked. Workaround: Use printers without control characters. 1599452 - Cashier application does not work. It cannot connect to CAS. 1621946 - Windows Print Client: Print Client will not function correctly if an upgrade is performed on top of existing Print Client. Workaround: Uninstall previous version of Windows Print Client before installing the newest version. 1670704 - Web System Manager: Add or edit price list: Price values having decimal separator cannot be saved correctly in case of languages using comma as decimal separator. Workaround: Switch the browser language to English. 1670922 - Web System Manager: When a new rule is created or edited, appearing text 'Watermark' is not translated. 1671294 - Web System Manager: Generated reports have date, time and number values in incorrect format compared to the current display language. 1673775 - Reports: If multiple labels are assigned to a Physical Device, the reports for that device have the same transactions multiple times. 1674898 - Windows Print Client: Printing to LPR port fails and a very technical error message appears. 1679263 - Web System Manager: Automated PIN Code Management screen: Variables for PINs cannot be placed in any rows of the email message. Workaround: Reformat the text that the variables are in the first line. Output Manager: --------------- 1425407 - When receiving a document with the Email Source (EWS / Office365) that includes embedded images and one or more attachments, separate documents are created for the embedded images as well as for the attachments. 1513878 - Duplex is not leveraged when page range and duplex are set in print settings. Workaround: Select the page range when printing from the application. 1555089 - When Output Manager is running on Server 2019 and its services are configured to use the local system account, transformation operations are not able to utilize all of the fonts available on the system. Workaround: Use a domain user account for the services. 1594391 - Under some circumstances, a range of device detection IP addresses can disappear and require entering again. Workaround: Enter the IP range again. 1614180 - Unable to edit more than one LPD queue at once. Workaround: Modify each queue individually. 1626692 - With LDAP Import, only the first user in Base Distinguished Name is imported/updated. Workaround: Specify a Base Distinguished Name that is one level higher on the "Enter the characteristics of your LDAP server" screen, and then select the checkbox next to the desired Distinguished Name on the "Select LDAP Objects from which to Import/Update" screen. 1662324 – Certain documents (e.g. docx read from a watch folder) may cause the Output Manager Input service to fail when using the ControlSuite Analysis Engine. Workaround: Use the Legacy Analysis Engine when processing these documents. 1664749 - Currently, SharePointOnline does not allow uploading a file larger than 2MB. This should be addressed in the next minor release of ControlSuite. 1665552 – The Output Manager Viewer does not display certain XPS documents correctly. Workaround: Use the operating system’s built-in XPS Viewer. 1665544 – The Watermark and User Stamp actions may cause distortion in certain XPS documents. Workaround: Perform these actions before converting to XPS or after converting XPS to some other format (e.g. PDF). 1676345 - Under some circumstances, when performin an Active Directory sync, (possibly related to OM HA), message 4919 shows 0 users updated, even though AD Sync successful updates users, as shown in messages 5204, 5778, and 5208. 1683886 – In the OM Device Wizard, the Convert Windows Queue action may fail to create a device. Workaround: manually create a device record or run Detect Devices in Administration/Manage Devices prior to running the Device Wizard. DRS: ---- 1642965 - Unable to customize app name/authentication screen when adding a device under group with inherit properties set to false Workaround: Pressing "Save" will make the fields editable. DWS: ---- 1648854 - 15599: A scan with the Job Build option (also called multi scan) set to ON is canceled if the Home button is pressed during the scan. A race condition in the Firmware causes this behavior which will be fixed by HP in Firmware version 5.3. 1645237 - Auth_ON Installation is failing on Versalink devices when specifying an IPv4 address for DWS Workaround: Use fully qualified domain name for DWS Server Address in DRS Application configuration. 1541493 - Oouput Manager Business Rule action Extract Text (page mode) is corrupting some Greek language characters. SSO instructions for external application in Equitrac FUJIFILM ECSP ===================================================================== You can use SSO when you have logged in to Equitrac with AutoStore set up as an external application that uses Windows Authentication. If your authentication uses a domain account in the form of Domain\EQusername or EQusername only, Equitrac will check if the user has any authenticated session, and then send the EQusername from Equitrac to AutoStore as evidence of the session. This ensures that SSO authentication is valid and in use. Installing Equitrac USB Card Reader Plugin for FUJIFILM devices =============================================================== Use the KofaxCardReaderPluginForFujifilm-1.1.0.1.0.84 to install Equitrac USB Card Reader Plugin to your FUJIFILM devices. Refer to the existing documentation for the Fuji Xerox client which can be also found in the ControlSuite Web Help for instruction to install the plugin. Note: 1. This installer can work with TLS 1.2 or later. 2. This installer is for FUJIFILM devices only. It cannot install the plugin on Fuji Xerox devices. Use old, existing installer for that installation.
