General ControlSuite

1966081: PrintJobManagement could not release jobs when the workstation was not DNS registered.

1962024: SQL Express - Dedicated manually created database failed with an error and provided no option to create a database without uninstalling ControlSuite.

1959978: Upgrade from Cassandra to SQL Security Framework failed if there were multiple client registrations for a single workstation.

1945264: Configuration Assistant - There was no response when the user clicked the pencil icon to edit the Security Framework database connection information.

1942444: Configuration Assistant - The datacenter was not automatically selected on the Authorization and Security page even if only one datacenter exists.

1937610: Updated the Install Assistant help output to add more details to the silent mode help text.

1937609: Updated the Configuration Assistant help output to add more details to the silent mode help text.

1936855: Configuration Assistant - The login button on the Authorization and Security page was not visible during upgrade.

1951257: Changed the expired license enforcement to start at the end-of-day (UTC) on the expiration date.

1951062: Under certain conditions, the DBM reinstalled the license every minute.

1951056: The wrong notification text was sent when promoting or demoting a device.

1946591: In a shared license server configuration, an Output Manager instance consumed all of the Third-party card reader features.

AutoStore

1966662: Components using SFTP cannot use WinSCP v6. Workaround: Use v5x versions.

Output Manager

1962302: Under certain circumstances, the License Information page may show incorrect Used counts. Workaround: Use the Adjust License dialog to show the correct Used counts.

1962301: After a license has expired, the Adjust License dialog may show incorrect available counts. Workaround: Restart the license service.

1958211: Under certain circumstances, Output Manager may send two notifications for the same event.

1938735: In an HA configuration, creating a scheduled report may create two schedules. Workaround: Remove the extra schedule or connect to a specific DBM before creating the schedule.

Install This Fix Pack

Use the following procedure to install the fix pack.

  1. Extract the contents of KofaxControlSuite-1.4.0.1_R2_OfflineInstall.zip or KofaxControlSuite-1.4.0.1_R2_WebInstall.zip on the computer where Kofax product is installed. The Web Installer package does require an internet connection so it can download required installers.
  2. Double-click InstallAssistant.exe.

    The fix pack installer screen appears.

    1. Click Next to proceed with the installation.
    2. Follow the instructions on subsequent installer screens.
  3. Click Finish when prompted that the installation is finished.
