Equitrac installation
Equitrac can be installed as a standalone product, or combined with AutoStore,
Output Manager and Business Connect in various configurations to create multiple
document processing workflows. Some of the Equitrac options include the Accounting
Server for user verification, print charges, and cost-recovery; the Print Server for
printing, print tracking, secure document release, rules based printing, and basic
document transforms; Web System Manager UI for Equitrac configurations; and additional
device control, reporting and scheduling services.
There are two Equitrac installation workflows available:
- Build Equitrac in a production environment - select this option and have the Install Assistant walk you through the various installation options for Equitrac.
- Install Equitrac for demonstration or proof of concept purposes - select this option to build a single server environment with the recommended Equitrac components.
Refer to Equitrac Requirements to ensure your environment is configured to match the system requirements.
Refer to Upgrade Equitrac if you are upgrading from a previously installed version of Equitrac.
Equitrac components can be installed on multiple servers. If installing Web Client on a different server from CAS, you must manually add a CASName entry in the Registry file on the server where Web Client is installed in order to open Web System Manager. Create a CASName registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Equitrac\Common and assign it the CAS value, restart Web Client and open Web System Manager.
