Output Manager installation
Output Manager can be installed as a standalone product, or combined with AutoStore, Equitrac and Business Connect in various configurations to create multiple document processing workflows.
The Output Manager installation options include the Output Manager Console UI for administrative configurations, DBM service for database communication, Rules Agent service, SNMP service for device control, and Input and Output services for sending and receiving documents to and from Output Manager.
There are two Output Manager installation workflows available:
- Build Output Manager in a production environment - select this option and have the Install Assistant walk you through the various installation options for Output Manager.
- Install Output Manager for demonstration or proof of concept purposes - select this option to build a single server environment with the recommended Output Manager components.
When installing Output Manager on non-English versions of Windows, the viewer and some transformation related functions may not work properly. To avoid this, add compart.cplib.nativecodepage to the system environment variables with the value windows-1252.
