General ControlSuite

2128585: Configuration Assistant (CA) showed that DWS has been unenrolled after configuring it to use the IP address for DWS instead of hostname. Note: Be sure to update at least one ControlSuite server hosting SFS to 1.5.0.2 before updating other ControlSuite servers to 1.5.0.2. (This is necessary because a new URL was added to SFS to support the required CA change.)

2128253: Configuration Assistant GUI only allowed 18 datacenters.

2124310: Was not possible to import in Configuration Assistant PFX or P12 certificates with private Key.

2122729: Configuration assistant in Silent Mode needed Token for SFS instead login/password.

Follow the instructions below to include/exclude disabled user from LDAP search result at design-time and run-time.

Design time 1. Close AutoStore Process Designer. 2. Go to [Installation Drive]:\Program Files\Kofax\AutoStore. 3. Open the apd.exe.config file. 4. Find the setting FilterDisabledUsersOnUserLookup and change its value to: True: To exclude disabled user from LDAP search result. False: To include disabled user from LDAP search result as normal. 5. Open AutoStore Process Designer. Run-time 1. Stop AutoStore service and close AutoStore Process Designer. 2. Go to [Installation Drive]:\Program Files\Kofax\AutoStore. 3. Open the batch.exe.config file. 4. Find the setting FilterDisabledUsersOnUserLookup and change its value to: True: To exclude disabled user from LDAP search result. False: To include disabled user from LDAP search result as normal. 5. Open AutoStore Process Designer and start AutoStore service.

Issues Known in This Fix Pack

Equitrac

1943177: Deleted Xerox embedded device showing in list of devices after upgrade. Workaround: Delete the printer again. If unable to determine which one was the previously deleted printer, please contact Technical Support for assistance.

Output Manager

2098213: When using the Display Client Popup business rule action, the Personal check box may not be visible. Workaround: Use a Print Rules Profile to display the popup.

2095639: The ControlSuite Analysis Engine is unable to process certain text documents. Workaround: Use the Legacy Analysis Engine.

1962301: After a license has expired, the Adjust License dialog may show incorrect available counts. Workaround: Restart the license service.

1939626: Under certain circumstances, the Desktop Client may report jobs twice to Output Manager.

1938393: When transferring documents between Output Manager instances using the Output Manager destination, document properties may be lost. Workaround: Set the document property's Apply Mode to Always Apply prior to sending the job.

1871374: When creating a new source, specifying a user defined Failover profile may not take effect immediately. Workaround: Edit and save the source.

1646508: Output Manager may track jobs even when the device's tracking options are disabled.

Install This Fix Pack

Use the following procedure to install the fix pack.

  1. Extract the contents of KofaxControlSuite-1.5.0.2_R2_OfflineInstall.zip or KofaxControlSuite-1.5.0.2_R2_WebInstall.zip on the computer where Kofax product is installed. The Web Installer package does require an internet connection so it can download required installers.
  2. Double-click InstallAssistant.exe.

    The fix pack installer screen appears.

    1. Click Next to proceed with the installation.
    2. Follow the instructions on subsequent installer screens.
  3. Click Finish when prompted that the installation is finished.
