Embedded Application Installation

This section discusses how to install the Equitrac Embedded for Canon MEAP application. This is a manual process that must be accomplished per individual MFP by a system administrator.

This guide assumes that you are installing the Equitrac products (servers and embedded solutions) in a Windows network environment.

You need to use a web browser to complete the installation. Equitrac recommends using Internet Explorer 7.0 (or higher) or Mozilla Firefox 3.1 (or higher) with the pop-up blocker disabled.

Ensure that the Enable Department ID Management option is selected in your Department ID Management Settings. The Equitrac Embedded for Canon MEAP software then requires a System Manager ID and Department ID to be set, and the password to be configured for each.
