Lock the device services

In case of Fujifilm authentication (EPA) (see Configuring Embedded Devices), to lock all ApeosPort multifunction device services the following configuration is required on the device’s web page:

This document includes examples taken from the ApeosPort-IV C3373 series. Differences with the ApeosPort-IV C3373 and ApeosPort-V C2275 series are indicated where applicable.

  1. Open a Web browser and enter http://MFP_IP_address in the Address field.
  2. If needed, enter the administrator User Name and Password (the default is 11111/x-admin).
  3. Go to Permissions > Authentication and Accounting > Authentication/Accounting Type and click Remote. Click Save.
  4. Go to Permissions > Authentication and Accounting > Remote Authentication Settings and click Authentication Agent. Click Save.
  5. Go to Permissions > Permissions > Access Control.
  6. Under Device Access:
    • Select Device Control Panel Access and click Locked.
    • Select System Settings Access and click Locked.
  7. Under App Access, click Lock All.
  8. Click Save.
