Installing the Server Monitor
The complete installation of all FraudOne components is described in the FraudOne - Administrator's Guide.
Copy the Server Monitor installation files to a directory of your choice, this is most easily achieved by using the InstSrvMon.cmd from the installation media.
In common with all FraudOne components, the system on which you wish to install the Server Monitor must be initialized to identify it to the FraudOne installation before the Server Monitor can be started. This is done using the SetupCfg.cmd which identifies the system and locates the configuration and authentication servers for the installation. Details of this are described in the FraudOne - Administrator's Guide.
You can start the Server Monitor by double-clicking on the SrvMon.jar file. You can set up a link pointing to that file on your desktop or in your system menus. Alternatively you can start the monitor by typing on the command line:
java –jar SrvMon.jar
Please check that your installed Java version matches the one specified in the FraudOne - Administrator's Guide.
See the FraudOne - Administrator's Guide and the sections below for setting up the Server Manager and configuring your Monitor.
