To be able to start servers you have to be logged on.

To start a server, select the server in the managed objects tree and do one of the following:

•Use the Server > Start Server menu entry.

•Click the Start component button on the toolbar.

•Right click for a popup menu and select Start server.

The server will now start and the status of the server in the managed objects tree will change after the next refresh.

You don’t have to start each server individually. You can start a whole group, by selecting the group and using one of the methods above. You can also start all servers on one computer, by selecting the computer and issuing the request.

Servers can also be started from the statistics display. While you are in the statistics panel, click the Start server button. See Getting information.

Servers that are dependent on other servers for their correct operation may not start until the prerequisite servers are running.
