Description

Timeout waiting for access to log file

Cause

The synchronisation mechanism preventing simultaneous access to the log file did not allow access within the defined time limit.

Action

This may indicate that the logging subsystem is processing very large numbers of messages and so is unable to grant the server monitor access to the file. Reduce the number of messages being generated by reducing the number of servers generating detailed trace information.
