To be able to stop servers you have to be logged on.

To stop a server, select the server in the managed objects tree and do one of the following:

•Use the Server > Stop Server menu entry.

•Click the Stop component button on the toolbar.

•Right click for a popup menu and select Stop server.

The server will now stop and the status of the server in the managed objects tree will change after the next refresh.

You don’t have to stop each server individually. You can stop a whole group, by selecting the group and using one of the methods above. You can also stop all servers on one computer, by selecting the computer and issuing the request.

Servers can also be stopped from the statistics display. While you are in the statistics panel, click the Stop server button. See Getting information.

You may not be able to stop a server when another server that is dependent on it is still running.
