Introduction

Install Tungsten Import Connector 2025.1.1.0 to apply the features added and to resolve the issues listed below.

Note: To install Tungsten Import Connector 2025.1.1.0 successfully, an existing full installation of Tungsten Import Connector 2025.1 is required.

2199518	Message Connector failed to connect to the Kofax Import Connector mailbox due to an insufficient buffer size to store the server's return token. An error message similar to the following is displayed: "Connection has been disconnected without response from Target 7(email))"	Increased the buffer size to store the return tokens.
2198260	The MS Graph import source failed to import new emails using the ROPC grant type.	Fixed an issue with the ROPC grant type to allow import of new emails.
2192728	EML to PDF conversion failed with an error message similar to the following when the value of the "ResizeLargeImages" parameter was set to 1: "2025-04-14 13:14:03.189 ERROR [Thread=1] [KFXConverter.Converter] Unable to convert file to specified format - Object reference not set to an instance of an object."	Upgraded a third-party component with this fix pack.
2191885	Message Connector connection failed if the address of the outgoing email contained more than 71 characters.	The email address buffer size has been increased to support long email addresses.
2188402	JPEG to TIFF conversion failed with error code 1.	This issue is already fixed as part of a third-party component upgrade in Kofax Import Connector 2.11.0.6.
2184416	Document conversion failed with the following error when KFXConverter was unable to handle concurrent logging: "LogMessage failed with exception The process cannot access the file 'C:\ProgramData\Kofax\KFXConverter\KFXConverter.log' because it is being used by another process."	Enhanced KFXLogger to handle concurrent logging.
2176758	Kofax Import Connector repeatedly tried to delete an email from the Microsoft mailbox when the mailbox returned 408, 503, and 504 errors. As a result Message Connector entered an ideal state.	The poll interval is reduced to prevent Message Connector from entering an ideal state and returning to function from an error state.
2170571	Message Connector failed to process a corrupt email and did not poll the remaining emails.	The corrupt email is flagged as bad content, and the remaining emails are polled. When a corrupt email is received: The email is flagged as "bad content" and imported as a '.bin' attachment along with the original email. If Document Conversion is not configured, the error email is imported into TotalAgility. If Document Conversion is enabled, the error email conversion fails because the BIN file cannot be converted to PDF/TIFF.
2161301	The conversion of HEIC files to PDF or TIFF failed in Kofax Import Connector 2.11.0.4.	Upgraded a third-party component with this fix pack.
2151642	Text was missing in the output PDF file after normalization to PDF/1a.	Upgraded a third-party component with this fix pack.

Install this fix pack

For best results, install the fix pack during off-peak processing hours.

Verify that the following applications/services are not running.

KC Plug-In application and service
Message Connector Service

Extract the contents of the .zip file on the computer where Kofax Import Connector is installed.
Run MC-25.1.1.223.bat and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: To update a single instance or multiple instances of Message Connector on a cluster node:
1. Open Command Prompt and navigate to the directory containing the update.
2. Execute the following commands:
  - Instance 1: msiexec /update MC-25.1.1.223.msp KOFAXPRODUCTVERSION=2025.1.1.223 /qb /l*vx MC-2025.1.1.223-Inst1.log /n {ED3A11FC-AEED-43E3-ACB9-346251589F42}
  - Instance 2: msiexec /update MC-25.1.1.223.msp KOFAXPRODUCTVERSION=2025.1.1.223 /qb /l*vx MC-2025.1.1.223-Inst2.log /n {BECAC22C-F193-4D6F-BE5D-99AD080E776F}
  - Instance 3: msiexec /update MC-25.1.1.223.msp KOFAXPRODUCTVERSION=2025.1.1.223 /qb /l*vx MC-2025.1.1.223-Inst3.log /n {F6C1303A-7A09-4F2E-AF46-F063E03331F9}
On the computers where KC Plug-In is installed:
1. Close Kofax Capture Administration.
2. Run KCPlugin-25.1.1.223.bat and follow the on-screen instructions.
Restart any applications or services that were stopped prior to installing the fix pack.
Verify that the KC Plug-In and the Message Connector services are running.

Remove this fix pack

For best results, remove the fix pack during off-peak processing hours.

Verify that the following applications/services are not running.

Message Connector Service

To uninstall Message Connector:
1. In Control Panel, select Programs and Features > View installed updates.
2. On the list of updates, in the Name column, select MC fix pack MC-25.1.1.223.
3. Right-click and select Uninstall.
To uninstall KC Plug-In:
You cannot uninstall the fix pack for KC Plug-In. You must uninstall Kofax Import Connector and install it again without the fix pack.
Restart any applications or services that were stopped prior to removing the fix pack.
