Appendices in Scan job descriptions

If you need to process invoices that have additional pages or attachments, you specify this in the Pages settings of the Scan job description. The additional pages or attachments are called appendices in Kofax Invoice Automation.

Kofax Invoice Automation does not identify appendices and does not process data on them, but Kofax Invoice Automation does save them in image files along with the invoice images. The maximum number of appendices allowed is 999.

When you run the job, you must insert a blank sheet of paper after every complete invoice (an invoice, or an invoice plus appendices) so that Kofax Invoice Automation can identify where each new invoice starts.

To include two-sided appendices, select Two-sided in the Scanner settings dialog when you create your scanner description.
