Maintain a work type

You can modify, copy, and delete a work type on the Work types page.

To open the Work types page, navigate to System data > Work types.

Modify a work type

  1. On the Work types page, click the work type to modify.
    The Edit work type dialog box is displayed.
  2. Make the changes as needed.
  3. Click Save.

Copy a work type

  1. On the Work types page, on the context menu of the work type to copy, click Copy.
    • A copy of the work type prefixed with "Copy 1 of" to the <work type name> appears on the Work types page.
    • The fields and field properties appear in the Fields list.
  2. Customize the work type as needed.
  3. Click Save.

Delete a work type

You can delete redundant work types. If a live job exists on a work type, it cannot be deleted.

On the Work types page, on the context menu of the work type to delete, click Delete.

On confirmation, the selected work type is deleted.
