Use this window to add the name of a new field formatter and to define its formatter type.

The following options are available:

Name

Type the name of the field formatter. The best practice is to use a name that includes information about the field formatter type. This enables you and other project administrators to understand the purpose of a formatter based on the name only.

Important The name of the formatter cannot include any Visual Basic commands, special characters such as blanks or underlines, or begin with a number. Using names that do not follow these guidelines or the general naming conventions may result in script errors.

Type

Select one of the following formatter types.

• Amount Formatter. This is the default value for this option.

• Date Formatter.

• Percentage Formatter.

• Script Formatter.
