Settings

  1. Accept or change the default target folder and file name in the Save As dialog box that appears.

  2. Optionally, add document information through the Document Properties dialog box, or choose Embed Metadata in the Advanced Settings panel of the Settings dialog box to have the PowerPoint file's existing document information (metadata) transferred to the PDF.

Note

If the Nuance PDF tab and ribbon are not displayed on your screen, consult the Troubleshooting topic.

Tips

Select Create PDF and E-mail or the corresponding button from the Nuance PDF menu, to create and save a PDF and also send a copy as an e-mail attachment.

Use the Settings menu item from the Nuance PDF menu or click the corresponding button to change settings in the Nuance PDF Settings for PowerPoint dialog box and the PDF Create Properties dialog box.

These PowerPoint settings allow comments, hyperlinks and metadata to be transferred to PDF files and for a bookmark to be created for each slide. If metadata transfer is enabled, this overrides any information added through the Document Settings dialog box.
