Reader Mode

Please consult online Help for guidance if your Power PDF program has been set to Reader mode by a system administrator.

You will have access to many program features, including commenting, but not to those which involve editing or otherwise modifying content on the real PDF pages.

In setting up Reader mode in a company environment, a system administrator has a wide range of choices on which features to include and exclude, as detailed in the Customization Kit Guide.

This means some parts of this Help system will not apply to your Reader mode implementation. Areas of functionality definitely not included in Reader mode are:

• Advanced Edit Mode

• Bates Numbering

• Creation of dynamic PDF Forms

• PDF Document Optimization

• Redaction

• Splitting PDF Documents

• Tagging PDF Documents

• Clip Art
