Unless a more sophisticated Kofax PDF viewer/editor is found during the installation process, PDF Viewer Plus is installed together with Kofax PaperPort and closely cooperates with the latter in several ways.
While working in the PaperPort desktop, double-click a PDF item to open it in PDF Viewer Plus, provided suitable settings have been made on the Desktop tab of the PaperPort Options dialog box which is accessible from the menu of the PaperPort button. PDF Viewer Plus locates the folder of the currently active item and opens it to read, edit, annotate, share, search, form-fill and add security attributes. Once you are ready and save your modifications, the item is displayed again in PaperPort with the new attributes.
While working in PDF Viewer Plus, use its 
Select Image button to select an
image within a PDF document and either double-click the image, or right-click
it and choose Edit Image from
the shortcut menu. The selected image is displayed in the Kofax ImageViewer
program where you can use all available SET tools to enhance it. Once
you are ready with modifications and save changes as you close ImageViewer, the item is displayed
again in PDF Viewer Plus with the new image attributes.
Note
A higher level of cooperation can be achieved and the full range of PaperPort and PDF editing capabilities can be utilized by upgrading to Kofax Power PDF.
