To get digital photos from a camera to the PaperPort desktop, you can:
Download
the photos from a TWAIN-, ISIS- or WIA-compatible camera
Install the software driver that came with your camera,
connect the camera to your computer, and use the Scan or Get Photo
pane to download the images to the PaperPort desktop exactly the same
way as with scanners.
Drag
and drop the photos from digital storage media
Install the driver for the storage device, such as a USB memory card
reader. When you connect the device to your computer, it appears as
a disk drive on My Computer. You can then use
Windows to drag and drop or copy the photos to the PaperPort desktop.
Use
a photo download program provided with the camera
Many cameras come with their own photo viewing and download program
for getting photos onto a computer. Install the program and connect
the camera to your computer, according to the directions provided
with the camera. You can then use the program to drag and drop or
copy your photos to the PaperPort desktop.
Tips
Many cameras will appear as disk drives when you view My Computer or Windows Explorer.
Do not edit the images on your camera in place – not all editing produces the desired result first time. Instead, bring your files into PaperPort and use the SET tools to enhance them.
