Desktop splitting

This feature is available only in PaperPort Professional.

Splitting the desktop into two parts makes it easier to copy and move items and pages between different folders.

To split the desktop

1. Click the Split Desktop button on the Desktop ribbon. A horizontal splitter will appear which is moveable.

2. Place the cursor on the splitter. When the cursor shape changes to , drag the splitter to the desired location.

Note

The tab, the ribbon and the Status bar always relate to the active pane. The commands on the ribbon always affect the active pane.

Click the Split Desktop button again to return to single desktop mode.
