To display or hide file name extensions

1. Click on the PaperPort button, choose  Options, and then click the Desktop tab.

   On the Desktop tab, choose  Desktop Options.
    

2. SelectShow file name extensionto display three-character file name extensions that identify file types; for example, report.doc.

3. Click OK.
