The Print to PaperPort feature lets you bring spreadsheets, pictures, database, word processing, HTML, and other types of files into PaperPort as items on the PaperPort desktop.
Print these files as PDF Image (.pdf), or PDF Searchable Image (.pdf) files.
While you are working in another program, select PaperPort Image Printer from your list of available printers and print the file. PaperPort will automatically convert the file to the file type specified under Item options, start PaperPort if it is not already open, and place the file as an item on the PaperPort desktop. The default type is PDF Image.
Click on the PaperPort button, choose
Options,
and click the Advanced
tab to set the image quality for newly created PDF files.
In PaperPort Professional, you can print files to the PaperPort desktop in the PDF Formatted Text & Graphics file type (PDF Normal) using Kofax Power PDF Create
In the source program, open the file you want to print to PaperPort.
Click on the PaperPort button and choose
Print.
In the Print dialog box, identify the printer name as:
PaperPort Image Printer to create a black-and-white or color image item.
Power PDF to create a PDF Formatted Text & Graphics file.

Options,
click the Item tab, and then click
the Properties button to view
or modify settings for PDF printing.
Click OK.
The file prints to the PaperPort desktop and appears as a new item
on the desktop.
