What programs come with PaperPort?

FormTyper — Available on the Send To bar, FormTyper lets you fill in any type of form that you have scanned or obtained. FormTyper converts non-PDF files to PDF, then automatically recognizes the blank areas in which data can be entered and creates blank fields for the data.

FTP— Available on the Send To bar, the FTP program is included with PaperPort so that you can quickly copy files in PaperPort to and from an FTP site.

ImageViewer— Located on the Start menu and available from within PaperPort, ImageViewer is a standalone program that opens the Image View window separately from the PaperPort desktop.

PDF Viewer Plus — Located on the Start menu and available from within PaperPort, PDF Viewer Plus can be used to open, read, edit, annotate, share, search, form-fill and (in its version cooperating with PaperPort Professional) create PDF files. This viewer has its own Help system that also covers PDF creation.

The MAX to PDF converter — Available in the PaperPort sub-menu in the Windows Start menu, it is a Wizard-like program to convert MAX files to PDF. The converter allows annotations to be transferred to the resulting PDF. Language choices are available separately for the MAX file content and for its annotations..

ScanDirect — Located on the Start menu, ScanDirect displays a small control panel you can use to scan items directly to PaperPort or other programs on your computer without first running PaperPort.

Web Publisher — Available on the Send To bar, Web Publisher is a PaperPort program that helps you format your image items for viewing and publishing to a web site.

Evernote Connector — Available on the Send To bar, Evernote Connector offers a link to the Evernote web storage facility, so that PaperPort items can be transferred to this Cloud service.

Kofax Power PDF Create — PaperPort Professional 14 is supplied with this program, providing full PDF making abilities. It creates PDF files from a wide range of sources including image files, XPS, PS and EPS files, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. It provides more control over the creating process than the PaperPort Image Printer.
