Creating PDF Files from the Start Menu

To create PDF files from the Start menu using Create Assistant

  1. Choose Create Assistant from the Kofax Power PDF submenu in the Windows Start menu or choose it from the Power PDF jump list (shortcut menu) in the Windows taskbar.

  2. add icon
    Use the Add button to build up a file list or drag-and-drop files into the list area. When the output is a single PDF, files will be placed in the PDF in the listed order. Use the Up and Down buttons to re-arrange the file order if necessary.

  3.  assemble icon
    Select an item from the  Assemble selection box.

  4. profiles icon
    Select a profile from the Profile selection box. Modify an existing profile or create a new one if necessary.

  5. Define the destination settings.

  6. PDF Create icon
    Click this tool to start PDF creation.

    If the View Result PDF checkbox in the Destination Settings dialog box is enabled, the resulting PDF will be displayed after creation.
