Starting from the Windows Start Menu, taskbar or Windows Explorer

To start PDF Convert from the Windows Start menu

1. Choose Start, then All Programs, then Kofax Power PDF.

2. Choose PDF Convert Assistant from the sub-menu. Convert Assistant appears.

To start PDF Convert from Windows Explorer

1. Right-click on a PDF or XPS icon or filename in Windows Explorer or an icon on your desktop.

2. Choose Convert PDF / XPS from the shortcut menu and then choose a processing method and a target application (Word, WordPerfect, Excel or PowerPoint) for direct conversion or use Convert Assistant.

To start PDF Convert from the Windows taskbar

Right-click the Power PDF program icon if it is placed on the taskbar. Choose Convert PDF from its jump list.
