This panel is called from the Panel bar by the following tool:
If you do not see this tool, right-click in an empty area of the Panel bar and select it.
Use the Watermarks panel to add and customize existing watermarks, or create new ones.
To use an existing watermark
Display the Watermarks panel.
Choose one and double-click it.
The Apply Watermark dialog box is displayed allowing you to customize the appearance of the watermark in the PDF. It offers the following choices:
Page range
Insert the watermark in all pages or within a specified page range, select odd or even pages only for the specified range.
Appearance
Set watermark opacity, choose to have it as background and decide whether to have it displayed on screen and/or in print. Use the paging slider at the bottom of the dialog to preview what a given page will look like with the watermark in it.
When done, click OK.
To create your own watermark
Display the Watermarks panel.
Click Create at the bottom.
Use the dialog box to create it as follows:
Give your watermark a title
Select its type: Text, Image or Composite.
Text:
Type your watermark text into the Text field under Properties. Choose to insert Macros, such as Page Number, Date / Time and more. You can also customize text appearance here. The Position commands let you place your watermark precisely. Cross-page watermarks appear on two facing pages.
Image:
Use the next panel to browse to the image file you want to use and click OK. Set image watermark properties. When done, define its position as described above.
Composite:
Choose from the already existing text or image watermarks to create composite ones. Select a name then click Add. When done, define watermark position as described above.
To remove watermarks from a document page
Select Edit > Modify > Edit Object.
Use its cursor to select the watermark and either right-click it and select Delete from the shortcut menu, or press Delete on the keyboard.
This will succeed only if you have the right to remove the watermark.

Create Assistant lets you add watermarks to PDF files as you create them.
