Power PDF Settings for Word
Click the Creation Settings tool on the Kofax PDF tab in Microsoft Word, or select the corresponding menu item to open the Power PDF dialog box.
Use this dialog box to adjust PDF settings, application settings, and transfer bookmarks, links or comments from Word to the resulting PDF file.
The dialog box has the following tabs:
Settings Tab
This tab contains the same settings as the PDF Settings and Application Settings panels in the Word Options dialog box.
Bookmarks Tab
This tab offers settings for bookmarks, as detailed with the Create Bookmarks item in the Application Settings section.
Important: When using the File > Save As Kofax PDF command, bookmark settings are available behind the Options button (under Application settings). However, the following settings are in effect only if the same settings are enabled on the Bookmarks tab of the Power PDF dialog box:
- Convert Word Headings to Bookmarks
- Convert Word Styles to Bookmarks
To reach bookmark settings, click Kofax PDF > Creation Settings on the Office ribbon, then click the Bookmarks tab. Select the bookmark settings you prefer.
