Databases used by ReadSoft Capture Components

ReadSoft Capture Components (RCC) uses two or three databases:

• The configuration database (Microsoft SQL Server). Contains the configuration data for Capture Components Administration, as well as the solutions that you create.

• The production database (Microsoft SQL Server). Contains deployed solutions. It is from this database that you import solutions to XBOUND.

• The Knowledge Processing database (Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, or Oracle). Optional. Can be located on a separate database server.

Creating databases

Set up the databases as described in XBOUND Installation Guide.
