Specifying in which order to load root documents in Inspection

The XBOUND Document Manager is used to manually select and open root documents for Inspection. You can set up the system so that additional root documents are loaded in Inspection after you finish processing the root document you initially selected in the Document Manager (or root documents, if Allow processing multiple root documents is selected when configuring the Inspection activity).

Use this procedure:

  1. Start Inspection.

  2. Select Inspection > Settings. The Settings view is displayed.

  3. Select Automatic root document selection.

  4. Select one of these options:

    • Select next root document of last process step: The Document Manager lists the root documents under their process steps. If the root documents you select all belong to the same process step, Inspection opens the selected root documents and then the process step is automatically scanned for new documents. These documents are continuously retrieved and opened in Inspection until all documents are processed. If more than one process step is involved, only the selected root documents are opened for processing in Inspection.

    • Select next root document using XBOUND sequence: The Document Manager lists, in no particular order, all the root documents to be inspected. Inspection opens the selected root documents. When you are done processing them, the entire XBOUND system is scanned for documents, and the system opens the next root document in line to be processed.

  5. Click OK.
