Refreshing the document list

The displayed document list is always a snapshot of the available documents at retrieval time. If the Document Manager is used by several users at the same time, two users may try to open the same document at the same time. If this happens, one of the users gets a message that the document could not be checked out. Then the Document Manager displays an updated document list, and the user can select another document.

Click Refresh to update the list of available documents (for example, if the Document Manager was not refreshed recently).

Select Refresh Immediately to update the list after each change to the filter or search criteria. If searching in the Document Manager takes a long time, deselect this option to avoid triggering a new search after each keystroke.
