Email output settings

ClosedTo access this dialog:

  1. Open a document specification, compound document, or batch.

  2. Click the Output tab.

  3. Select the add-on that contains the output method that you want to use.

    Or, right-click in the Output Methods box and select Add Method to add and select a new add-on.

Use these settings to specify email output:

Message

To

The email address of the recipient (required). You can specify more than one address by separating each address with a semicolon.

CC

Carbon copy (optional). Specifies additional email recipients. You can specify more than one address by separating each address with a semicolon.

Subject

Specifies the subject of the email (optional).

Message

Specifies the message of the email (optional).

Attach document data as XML file with links to images

Attaches an XML file, containing the output data and links to the image files, to the email.

Attach document data as XML file and document source as binary file(s)

Attaches an XML file and the image files to the email.

Output full-text OCR

Full-text OCR extraction results are included in output. The words appear as DOCUMENTS extracted them and do not include any manual changes made by production operators.

Email settings

From

The email address of the sender (required).

SMTP server

The IP address, server name, or fully qualified domain name of the outgoing mail server (required).

User name

A user name required to send mail on the server.

Password

The password required to send mail on the server.

Port

A valid port for sending mail on the SMTP server (default: 25).

Test

Sends a test mail using the email settings. An error message is displayed if the test fails.
