The Create a document specification dialog

ClosedTo access this dialog:

  1. On the Configuration tab of the Administration module, expand Solutions and select the solution you are working with.

  2. Select File > New specification > Document.

Use these settings to create a document specification:

Base the new document specification on

Select which existing specification to base the new one on. The new specification contains the same properties as the one on which it was based. The specifications listed are ones currently being used in the solution. If you use this option, a document hierarchy is created.

Copy content from a template

Copies the properties from the selected template into the specification. If there are any differences in the properties, the template properties take precedence over the those in the selected specification.
