Creating batch report templates

This procedure is an optional part of configuring the Scan Information add-on. Use it to create one batch report template that corresponds to each production task that the Scan Information add-on is to be used with. The result is a different batch report for each task.

Use this procedure

  1. If you set up variables for the add-on, you can add these to the default batch report template at the same time. If you want the variables to be included in the batch reports, doing that first will make this task easier.

  2. Copy the file that is provided in the DOCUMENTS installation, batchreporttemplate.txt.

  3. Make your own changes.

  4. Save the template with the same name as the production tasks that the Scan Information add-on is to be used with.

  5. Optional: Place your templates in a separate folder, and specify that folder in the Templates folder setting in the add-on's configuration dialog.

  6. Ensure that Print report and Use task name templates are set to True in the add-on's configuration dialog (see instructions).
