Reprocessing documents

Reprocessing a document is like resetting its status, so that it is processed again from the start (that is, from the first production task that is configured in your solution).

This may be necessary for whatever reason, for example:

To save images and reprocess a batch:

  1. Open the Document searches dialog.

  2. Find and identify the problem documents (or batch). (See Searching for documents for instructions.)

  3. Select the documents or batch, right-click and select Supervisor lock.

  4. To save images for the selected documents or for an entire batch, select the document(s) or batch, right-click, select Save images, and specify the location.

  5. Reprocess the documents, creating a new Image file import Input task if necessary.

  6. After the new batch is processed through the system, delete the original, locked objects.
