In order to send data from processed documents to a target system, you must specify an output method:
Open a document, compound document, or batch specification.
Which one you open determines whether an output file will be generated for each batch, for each compound document, or for each document. For more information, please see Output: Overview.
. Otherwise, the batch will not be intact at the time of output. In that case, the output will be determined by the document specification(s) or compound document specification(s). tab
If you set up the output method in the batch specification, you must also select on theRight-click the
list and select .In the dialog that is displayed, select the add-on that contains the output method you want to use and click .
The add-on appears in the
list. If necessary, rename the method by selecting > (or by pressing ).Repeat these steps for each object (document, compound document, or batch) in the solution that requires output.
Optional: Use
to order your output methods accordingly.Important: Most output methods actually send document data to a target system. However, you can also use an output method to check documents and change their document status based on certain criteria. If you are using such a method, for example for handling rejected documents, it is important to place this type of method high in the list, or even first, so that they are applied before documents actually leave the system.
Define the Output activity in the production task you are working with.
