When you are using the Manager, select ð Update to update an object that you selected on the left side of the screen (if Object bars are showing). This is useful when the program is running in a network. For example, if you are sharing a database with others, select Update to get the changes that they just made.
Another example is just after you use Windows Explorer to copy a job description, batch report layout file or transaction description to the current directory.
By default, objects are updated automatically (as if you had used Update) each time you click a different object bar. If this seems to take too much time, you can turn off the automatic function and use ð Update whenever you want to update objects. To do that, change MngrUpdateAlways=YES in the [Settings] section of Ehlocal.ini to MngrUpdateAlways=NO.
