Mark field

Mark fields are boxes that are marked (ticked or checked) to select a choice on a form. They must be at least 1.5 mm square; a 3 mm (1/8") square is recommended for optimal performance.

These are typical mark fields:

q Very good  q Satisfactory  q Poor

Mark fields with numbers or letters in them are also acceptable. Do not erase the text. FORMS compares the number of pixels in the field definition with the number of pixels in that field on each form you process. If the number of pixels increases substantially, the mark field is assumed to be filled in.

Round mark fields, too, are common; clients are meant to darken the circle to indicate a choice. You must draw a frame around each circle. Do not erase the circle. As described above, FORMS compares the number of pixels in the field definition with the number of pixels in that field on each form you process. If the number of pixels increases substantially, the mark field is assumed to be filled in.
