To choose scanner settings for a new form on which you will base a form definition, click the Scanner settings object bar and double-click Settings for next form definition.
Click Copy from form def. to set the scanner settings to match the current form definition, if one is open. The button is disabled in the following cases:
No form definition is open.
The current scanner type is different than the one used to scan the current form definition.
The current form definition was based not on a scanned form but on an image file.
