Specifying an archive transaction description in the Transfer job

If you have an archive transaction description, you can specify this additional transaction description and transfer file in the Transfer job description. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the job description file for editing. How?

  2. On the Transfer tab, click Archive.

  3. Type the file name of an archive transaction description in the Description file box, or click Browse and choose the transaction description file in the resulting dialog.

  4. In the Transfer file box, type or select the name of an additional transfer file to use for archive transactions.

  5. To add the archive transactions to the end of an existing transfer file, select Append to file.

  6. Deselect Terminate with CR & LF if you do not want to end each archive transaction with a carriage return and line feed character.

  7. Close the Archive dialog and the Job description dialog, and resave the job description file.
