Some users, such as ReadSoft's technical writers or usability experts, need to look at INVOICES' various dialogs for scanner settings. In order to see these, normally you would need to install each combination of scanner drivers and models.
Instead, you can simulate each one by changing the ScanCard setting in Eilocal.ini to EMULATE as described in Using Scan Emulate. Then add another setting called EmulateMode, and use these settings to check each dialog:

After each change, save the INI file and reopen the Scanner settings dialog. Click Advanced and then ATP to see all the dialogs. Ignore the scanner type mentioned in the title bar of the dialogs. (This is affected by the ScanType setting and is not valid when you use Scan Emulate.)
There is no need to restart the Manager module or even close the INI file after each change.
The default value for EmulateMode is an empty string, and you will not be able to view any advanced scanner settings.
