Freeform is helpful in cases when a field does not always appear in the same location on the invoice. Instead of searching for a field within a defined area (using an invoice definition), the entire invoice (or part of it, see below) is searched. It is as if the field is being interpreted for the first time in INVOICES. Field titles and any DCL expressions for the field are still used.
