These settings affect all image files, regardless of the original file format.

Image conversion

Keep original file

Keeps the original image files when you choose Convert image to. If you only want to keep the converted image files, do not select this setting.

Convert image to

Converts image files to a different format before transfer. Select one of the supported formats.

Converted image files are not saved in color. JPG files are saved in grayscale. TIF files are saved in black and white.

Converted image files are saved in the same location as the original files.

Multi-TIFF

Transfer multipage document as multi-TIFF

Creates a single multi-TIFF image file that contains all images associated with the document. For documents that only have one image, this setting has no effect.

The multi-TIFF file contains the images for the document pages and the appendix pages (front and back). The images are in the sequence that they had when Entrance processed them.

The file name is the same as the image file of the first page of the document. The file extension is TIF. The file is located in the directory where Entrance puts the identified images.

Except for the image of the first document page, the images that Entrance processed are not affected. That image file is replaced by the multi-TIFF image file.

This setting can only be used if *.TIF is selected for Convert image to.
