Freeform is helpful in cases when a field does not always appear in the same location on the document. Instead of searching for a field within a defined area (using a document definition), the entire document (or part of it, see below) is searched. It is as if the field is being interpreted for the first time in Entrance. Field titles and any DCL expressions for the field are still used.
