The Field specifications dialog
To access this dialog: Using Manager, select .
This dialog displays field specifications in the system. (Field specifications are part of field exceptions.) By right-clicking, you can open, delete, and create new field specifications.
Note The name of this dialog is hidden
if the dialog is docked (as it is by default).
| ID | Each field specification has a unique ID number. |
| Name | The name of the field specification. |
| Field type | The field type associated with the field specification. |
| Activation | If the field specification is Active and is used in a field rule, the field is interpreted and is displayed in Verify. If the field specification is Inactive and is used in a field rule, the field is not interpreted and is not displayed in Verify. |
| Format specification | The format specification for the field specification. |
| Prefix | The prefix for the field specification. |
