Note: Do not confuse Web Verification with Verification or with the XBOUND Document Verifier.
Web Verification allows using a browser to verify and correct the content of documents.
The configuration of the Web Verification process step controls some of the behavior and functionality. The validation, which is configured using business rules in the Validation Designer, determines the next field to be corrected.
The appearance and behavior of input forms are also configured in the Validation Designer. However, note that fewer options are available for web forms compared to regular forms used with Verification.
User interface language and logging level are configured in Web Verification itself.
Web applications must be configured using the XBOUND Process Designer. See Managing web applications (XBOUND Help topic) for details.
The XBOUND Application Service must be running on the Web Verification server.
It may be necessary to edit the configuration file of the XBOUND Application service, xboundApplicationService.exe.config. Please refer to XBOUND Installation Guide for details.
To access Web Verification, open a web browser and enter the URL:
https://ApplicationServerName/app/#verification
...where ApplicationServerName is the fully qualified name of the server where the XBOUND Application Service is running.
Then enter the user name and password provided to you by the system administrator.
Instructions for using Web Verification are found in separate online help that can be accessed from that application.
