Collector for IMAP

This collector imports email from mail servers that support IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol). The import operation works according to import rules and settings that you configure. Simultaneous processing of multiple email mailboxes and XBOUND processes is supported.

Configure one source for each mailbox folder from which email is to be imported.

Click + to create a new source. Or double-click an existing source to edit it.

Configuration name

The name of the configured source.

Process step

The process step that will pick up the imported emails.

Email server

The address of the email server.

Area

The maximum number of batches the collector should import from this source before switching to the next source. Zero means no limit; batches are imported from this source until none remain.

Edit

Click in this column to open the XBOUND Collector for IMAP dialog, where you can adjust the configuration.

Active

Activate sources by clicking in this column. Inactive sources are not used (no email is imported).

New sources are initially inactive and are therefore ignored by the collector. Only when all required settings are in place and the automatic plausibility check succeeds can a source be activated.

Opens the XBOUND Collector for IMAP dialog, where you can configure a new source.

Tip: To duplicate a source, right-click a selected source and select Copy. A new source with identical settings is added, and you can then customize it further.

Deletes the selected source.

These settings are also available:

Import button

Imports settings from an XML file that was previously created using Export.

Export button

Exports the settings to an XML file. Specify the file name and location. You can then import the XML file to get the same settings. See Exporting and importing process step settings.

Check regular expression link

Opens a test form, where you can (when applicable) check a regular expression.
