Specifies whether a privilege is applied at the global, client, or process level (or a combination). XBOUND applications check the privileges and then allow or forbid the action. Certain privileges built into XBOUND that refer to creating, deleting, or changing certain objects or certain object properties are checked additionally by the platform on the XBOUND server.
Privilege definitions are grouped hierarchically. This means that a privilege can be assigned sub-privileges. An action whose permission is granted via a sub-privilege is allowed only if neither that sub-privilege nor its parent privilege is denied.
