Copying processes between clients

If you have processes that are to be reused in multiple clients, there is no need to set up each process repeatedly. You can copy them from one client to another using the below procedures.

Tip: You can also create a template based on an existing process and then create a new process based on the template.

To copy processes to an existing client

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Process Designer.

  2. Select Edit > Copy Processes. The Copy Assistant dialog is displayed.

  3. Select Copy processes to an existing client and click Next.

  4. In Source client, select the client containing the processes that you want to copy.

  5. Select the processes to copy and click Add.

  6. In New destination client, select a client to copy the processes to.

  7. Click Next and then Finish. The selected processes are copied from one client to the other client.

To create a new client and copy processes to it

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Process Designer.

  2. Select Edit > Copy Processes. The Copy Assistant dialog is displayed.

  3. Select Copy processes to a new client and click Next.

  4. In Source client, select the client containing the processes that you want to copy.

  5. Select the processes to copy and click Add.

  6. In New destination client, type a name for the new client.

  7. Click Next and then Finish. A new client is created with the process(es) that you selected.
